Pray with the Pope. April: “For priests in crisis”. At the beginning of Holy Week, Pope Leo XIV announces his prayer intention for the month of April. Dedicated to priests in crisis, it opens the possibility of reflecting on the needs to care for them, listen to them, and accompany them. Through the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network’s “Pray with the Pope” campaign, the Holy Father invites the faithful and all people of goodwill to spend a moment in prayer, to become aware of and to reflect on the fact that behind every minister is a person who needs closeness and a listening ear.

Auguri di Pasqua. Riprendendo un passaggio dell’Omelia pronunciata da Papa Leone XIV in occasione della Domenica delle Palme (29 marzo 2026): auguriamo di cuore a tutti gli aderenti della Fondazione i più cari e sinceri auguri di una serena e Santa Pasqua.

“Con le parole del Servo di Dio, il vescovo Tonino Bello, vorrei affidare questo grido a Maria Santissima, che sta sotto la croce del Figlio, e piange anche ai piedi dei crocifissi di oggi: «Santa Maria, donna del terzo giorno, donaci la certezza che, nonostante tutto, la morte non avrà più presa su di noi. Che le ingiustizie dei popoli hanno i giorni contati. Che i bagliori delle guerre si stanno riducendo a luci crepuscolari. Che le sofferenze dei poveri sono giunte agli ultimi rantoli. Easter greetings. To quote a passage from the homily delivered by Pope Leo XIV on Palm Sunday (29 March 2026): we extend our warmest and most sincere wishes to all members of the Foundation for a peaceful and blessed Easter. 

“In the words of the Servant of God, Bishop Tonino Bello, I would like to entrust this cry to Mary Most Holy, who stands beneath the cross of her Son and weeps also at the feet of those who are crucified today: “Holy Mary, woman of the third day, grant us the certainty that, in spite of all, death will no longer hold sway over us; that the injustices of peoples are numbered; that the flashes of war are fading into the twilight ; that the sufferings of the poor are breathing their last. [....] And grant, finally, that the tears of all the victims of violence and pain will soon be dried up like frost beneath the spring sun” (Maria, donna dei nostri giorni). Read the full text of Pope Leo XIV’s homily.

• General Assembly – Thursday 28th May 2026, Rome at the Pontificio Collegio Internazionale Maria Mater Ecclesiae (Largo Girolamo Minervini 3, Rome) with the title: “Catholic Social Thought Facing the Challenges to Freedom and Pluralism in a Disordered Economy and Society. Renewing the Vision of Centesimus Annus”;

• International Conference – Friday 29th May 2026, Vatican City, at the New Synod Hall (Piazza del Sant’Uffizio, Vatican City) with the title: “A Fragmented World in Search of Spirituality: Freedom and Pluralism through the Social Doctrine of the Church”;

• Holy Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica and Private Audience with the Holy Father at the Apostolic Palace  –  Saturday 30th May 2026, Vatican City.

The project explores the theme of ‘Mediterranean Theology’ and its implications for the Social Doctrine of the Church. The initiative is promoted by FCAPP in cooperation with the Gregorian University and the Institut Catholique de la Méditerranée.
