• Conferenza Internazionale - venerdì 29 maggio 2026: “The World in Search of Spirituality; Refocusing on Freedom and Pluralism through the Social Doctrine of the Church”;

• Santa Messa nella Basilica di San Pietro presso l’Altare della Cattedra e Udienza privata con il Santo Padre presso il Palazzo Apostolico - sabato 30 maggio 2026.

The 2026 International Conference of the Centesimus Annus Pro Pontifice Foundation will be held the 28th to the 30th May 2026 as follows: 

• Meeting of CAPPF Members and General Assembly - Thursday 28th May 2026;

• International Conference - Friday 29th May 2026: “The World in Search of Spirituality; Refocusing on Freedom and Pluralism through the Social Doctrine of the Church”

• Holy Mass celebrated in St. Peter's Basilica at the Altar of the Chair and private Audience with the Holy Father at the Apostolic Palace - Saturday 30th May 2026.

Preghiera per l’Ucraina il 24 febbraio - COMECE e Fondazione Centesimus Annus Pro Pontifice. A conclusione della Conferenza Europea tenutasi in Lussemburgo il 23 gennaio scorso, avevamo espresso il proposito di unirci in preghiera per la pace in Ucraina, individuando nel 24 febbraio una data significativa. Si è dato seguito a tale impegno anche in risposta all’appello di Papa Leone XIV del 4 febbraio, che aveva esortato a sostenere con la preghiera il popolo ucraino duramente provato dalla guerra. Leggi la preghiera.

Una preghiera per l’Ucraina di Padre Oleh Zymak. A seguito dell’iniziativa di preghiera per l’Ucraina, abbiamo il piacere di segnalarvi la seguente preghiera composta da Padre Oleh Zymak, sacerdote redentorista ucraino della Chiesa Greco-Ortodossa. Prayer for Ukraine on 24th February - COMECE and Centesimus Annus Pro Pontefice Foundation. At the conclusion of the European Conference held in Luxembourg on 23rd January, we had expressed our intention to unite in prayer for peace in Ukraine, identifying 24th February as a significant date. This commitment was subsequently carried forward also in response to the appeal of Pope Leo XIV on 4th February, in which he had urged all to support, through prayer, the Ukrainian people who had been severely tried by the consequences of the war. Read prayer.

A Prayer for Ukraine by Father Oleh Zymak. Following the prayer initiative for Ukraine, we are pleased to share the following prayer composed by Padre Oleh Zymak, a Ukrainian Redemptorist priest of the Greek Orthodox Church. He carries out a significant pastoral ministry in support of displaced persons, offering comfort and assistance to the victims of the war. Read Father Oleh’s prayer.

Seminario nazionale “L’Europa delle Città Verdi: il contributo del pensiero sociale cattolico”, che si terrà a Firenze il 13 aprile 2026 alle ore 19.00. La relazione di apertura sarà di S.E.R. Mons. Andrea Migliavacca, Assistente FCAPP per l’Italia e Vescovo di Arezzo-Cortona-Sansepolcro. 

Ulteriori dettagli organizzativi saranno resi disponibili nel corso del mese di marzo.

Costruire la Pace in Europa. La Conferenza europea della Fondazione Centesimus Annus Pro Pontifice, co-organizzata dal Chapter del Lussemburgo in collaborazione con la Segreteria Generale della FCAPP e la Commissione delle Conferenze Episcopali dell’Unione Europea (COMECE) e in partnership con la Luxembourg School of Religion & Society (LSRS), ha messo in evidenza il contributo che il pensiero sociale cattolico offre alla costruzione della pace. “Costruire la Pace in Europa: quale ruolo per il pensiero Sociale Cattolico e i Valori Universali?” è stato il tema della conferenza, svoltasi venerdì 23 gennaio 2026 presso la Luxembourg School of Religion and Society. Peace Building in Europe. The European Conference of the Centesimus Annus Pro Pontifice Foundation, co-organized by the Luxembourg Chapter in collaboration with the FCAPP General Secretariat and the Commission of the Bishops’ Conferences of the European Union (COMECE), and in partnership with the Luxembourg School of Religion & Society (LSRS), highlighted the contribution that Catholic social thought offers to the building of peace. “Building Peace in Europe: What Role for Catholic Social Thought and Universal Values?” was the theme of the conference, held on Friday, 23rd January 2026, at the Luxembourg School of Religion and Society. The project explores the theme of ‘Mediterranean Theology’ and its implications for the Social Doctrine of the Church. The initiative is promoted by FCAPP in cooperation with the Gregorian University and the Institut Catholique de la Méditerranée. It consists of a series of educational webinars that focus on interreligious and ecumenical dialogue between the three Abrahamic religions of the Mediterranean. Read more
